assistant-mail

assistant-mail is a small private program that runs on one person's own computer. It is the sign-in part of a personal AI assistant that its owner, Cristian, built for himself and his family.

It is not a public product or a public service. Nobody else can sign up for it, and it has no users other than the people in the owner's household.

What it does

When a household member allows it, the program reads that person's own Gmail messages and notes, read-only, so that their personal assistant can answer questions such as "what did the school email me last week?". It never sends, deletes, moves or changes any message.
