assistant-mail is a private program run by Cristian on his own computer for himself and his household (see the home page). It is not offered to the public.

What data the program accesses

Only after a household member signs in with Google and clicks Allow, the program can read, read-only, that person's Gmail messages and the notes stored in their Gmail. Google's sign-in gives it your email address, and a long-term sign-in token that lets it keep reading without asking again.

How the data is used

Messages and notes are used only to let that person's own personal AI assistant answer that person's questions. They are not used for advertising, not sold, not shared with other people, and not used to build any other product.

Where the data is stored

On the owner's own computer: the sign-in token is kept in the macOS Keychain, and the assistant's memory is a database on that same computer. Nothing is stored on a public server.

Who else receives the data

To turn text into the assistant's memory, short pieces of message and note text are sent to Google's Gemini API (paid tier, under Google's terms, which do not use that data to train models). No other company receives it.

Google API data

The use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your control and deletion

You can revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. On request, or when an account is removed from the program, its sign-in token and the data learned from it are deleted. Ask at admin@nulleye.com.
